From the kids' point of view, one of the best things about living in a different town to our extended families is that when they decide to come and visit, the stay for a whole weekend or more!
Several times I haven't even warned the kids that visitors were on their way, just so I could witness their pure elation at hearing a car pull into the driveway, and then unbridled joy of seeing who it may be!
Our most recent visitor was Pop. Visitors are even more exciting when they come bearing gifts.... especially ones as cool as cricket sets!
