Apparently life is crazy busy with 3 kids 3 and under - who'd have thought?
The big milestone this past week has been the second birthday of Master Mason. I cannot beleieve that he is 2 already - my oh my it almost makes me feel old, like coming up to 30 even!
Mason has a fabulous day, lots of party food (especially fairy bread) a little party at playgroup, and best of all, a suprise invite to a friend's place for an afternoon swim and play (it was a stinking hot day). All in all a great day, as evidenced by the contented, exhausted little face when tucked into bed that night. (And for anyone who is wondering - in this pic he is wearing a Captain Feathersword Hat, while opening his very own Victa Lawnmower)
His birthday was a Friday, so the weekend was spent with family - Nanna & Wiggypop, Nanna Pat & Poppy and Great Nan & Great Grandpop all visited for the weekend and a wonderful time was had by all (well I think so!)
The highlight was possibly his Roary the Racing Car cake, he is a huge fan. Slack mummy went the easy option and used a decal rather than decorated a cake per se, but lucky for us mummies the kids don't really seem to care as long as the cake has loads of icing!!
